About Me
I've been shooting pictures since I was 13. I bought my first SLR, then after digging an irrigation trench and a lady's Ivy-covered house all summer. The camera was a Pentax ME Super 35mm. It was the first camera to feature an auto computer for the auto function, a significant development at the time. In school, I finished the photography course very early and moved on to color processing. We had a full photo developing Darkroom. I was the only one doing color developing. In my sophomore year, I won the Photo contest; I was the only one to submit a color photo. Since then, I have shot three weddings, mostly my friends, so I didn't get paid, LoL, and have been using several different Canon cameras. I only use Canon. I have tried Nikon, but I didn't like the feel and features. Instead, I bought the first EOS made in 1987, and in March on my Birthday. The EOS 650 35mm, I still have and use it today. Currently Im shooting with the Canon M50 Mark ll, my first mirrorless camera. I shoot anything that catches my eye. I haven't done any subject studies in a long time. Like doorways only, or flowers, or the homeless (so sad). I like doing the candid shots also, and the panoramas are my specialty. I do all my Pan shots freehand, no tripod (yet), then I use the computer to stitch the individual shots to make the Panorama. I also use Photoshop extensively as well as Topaz and Hugin.
